Graduate Research Fellow

University of Michigan – DISCO Network (August 2023 – Present)

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary scholars, including Dr. Lisa Nakamura and Dr. Andre Brock, on projects addressing digital inequities and critical technocultural discourse.

Graduate Research Fellow

University of Michigan – Center of Racial Justice (August 2023 – Present)

  • Co-founded Decolonial Dialogues, a graduate-led initiative fostering liberation-centered scholarship through workshops and collaborative research.

Graduate Researcher

University of Michigan (August 2020 – Present)

  • Mii Lab: Conducted thesis research on the mental health impacts of online racial discrimination on Black youth, with findings submitted for publication.

  • Ward Lab: Investigated Black women’s online dating experiences and stereotypes through interviews and focus groups on Black digital culture.

  • Conducted interviews and focus groups on topics like homelessness, eating disorders, and social class disclosure, with findings contributing to multiple publications.
